Random Drug Testing for all government officials

Let's talk about random drug testing for all members of congress, the supreme court and the executive branch of these United States of America, including, of course, The President. Let's talk about random drug testing for all government officials.
We drug test employees in many occupations. Is there any reasonable rationale for not including those who have perhaps the most responsible jobs: steering the ship of state?

medication: the religion of the 21st century

Dear Neighbors:

there is a distinct possibility that anything less than a truly free world, with liberty and justice for all, is, de facto, psychophysical suppression, the direct result of which is psychological and/or physical illness.

Suppose, for example, that hundreds of millions of people are not meant to be taking psychoactive medications to calm them down, speed them up, alleviate their depression, reduce their anxiety, help them lose weight, help them sleep, help them wake up. Suppose all of these symptoms, that are being dutifully medicated by a trusting citizenry, are messengers bringing us important information about the world which we have created. Suppose the fact that 67% of our population is overweight or obese says as much or more about present America as it does about those individual people. Suppose the medications are meant to control the masses because if unmedicated many would listen to the symptom messengers and demand change.

God died and took religion along. Religion was meant to guide people in their choices of behavior. Medication by passes the human choice making process and directly
influences behavior. Medication is the religion of the 21st Century.

Governments died. Corporations are the governments of the 21st Century. The mission of a corporation is to make money. Ergo in the 21st Century the medicinal control of the masses will be for the purpose of making money for the owners of the corporations.

The above scenario is hardly different from the days of the Pharaohs whose Priests convinced the masses that life was exactly the way it was supposed to be and the military backed them up. Thousands of years ago 1% of the Egyptian population ruled the other 99%. In the past 25 years the upper 1% of the United States has progressed from controlling 22% of the nation's assets to controlling 39%.

Terrorism is the systematic use of terror as a coercive tool. Terrorism is for most part a psychological tactic.
Terrorism is a term used to describe violence or other harmful acts committed (or threatened) against civilians by groups or persons for political or ideological goals.[1] Most definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are intended to create fear or "terror," are perpetrated for an ideological goal, and deliberately target "non-combatants."

As a form of unconventional warfare, terrorism is sometimes used when attempting to force political change by: convincing a government or population to agree to demands to avoid future harm or fear of harm.
The best example of terrorism we have at the present time is Iraq. Recent polls indicate that the average Iraq citizen lives in a constant state of fear.

One way of combating terrorism is living a healthy life. For citizens living in Iraq this is obviously easier said then done for an essential aspect of being healthy is living without fear. It is challenging to live without fear when even going out of ones home can result in kidnapping or death. For Americans living healthy is a different kind of challenge. In our country the biggest health problem we presently face is the symptom manifested in 2/3rds of our population being overweight or obese. What is causing this? What does it mean? Why are 2/3rds of us severely jeopardizing our lives, one could say terrorizing ourselves, by carrying so much excess weight? Do you have ideas on this topic?

Health and politics are inextricably connected for, to a certain extent, the health and health practices of a country are determined by its politics. Our government decides issues such as who receives medical, Medicare, SSI and other sources of funding. Our government decides which diseases to fund research for. Our government decides what medicines to make available, our governement decides which farmers to subsidize, and on and on. But our government is not in charge of what our iindividual health practices are. For those who are able to grow food in their gardens the government does not rule what food is available.

Many citizens may choose to exercise and stay fit. A large percentage of the population are able to get adequate rest at night. The healing power of laughter is possible for many. The best treatment for illness is prevention. But health is neither a given nor an entitlement. Good health is something we must work for. But how do we do the work? Everyone knows that healthy food, exercise, rest are essential yet few of us put it all together into a package which makes for optimum health. Why is this the case? What makes establishing and maintaining health practices so difficult? What are you doing to practice health? Please tell me about your thoughts on this subject.

Remember if you are angry about what the terrorists are doing to create fear on our planet: Living well is the best revenge.

A Mind Body Health Blog is born!

This is a first test from Dr. Miller's blog consultant and the webmaster for Wilbur Hot Springs.

After reviewing several options, Blogger was selected as the best choice for Dr. Miller's KZYX & Z Mind Body Health radio show blog.

I look forward to Dr. Miller's entries and to hearing listener feedback from the Mind Body Health show!

As a first fan of Dr. Miller's program to share some health information here is my cavity article where I describe how I got a Dental Rejection Letter and healed five cavities.

Another health tip: I highly recommend Yoga with Sarana Miller (photo). Each time I've been fortunate enough to attend one of her Yoga Retreats at Wilbur Hot Springs I've had a glowing healthful feeling which lasts for about a week.
